Privacy Policy

This policy explains how data is handled when you visit this site and what applies when you continue to the App Store.

1. Scope and information boundaries

Shadowrocket Official Guide is the official website and guide for Shadowrocket. This policy applies to the static pages, site navigation, and analytics on shadowrocket12.com. It does not replace the privacy information shown in the app or Apple's handling of store accounts and transaction data.

This site has no account registration, email subscription, or contact forms. You can read the guide without providing your name, email address, or phone number. We do not collect subscription links, server passwords, or Config files. Follow import instructions on your own device in the app, and do not include this information in query parameters in a site URL.

This site does not provide, sell, or recommend proxy servers, subscriptions, or related services. A one-time purchase of the app is not a service subscription. Instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details; obtain subscription links from your service provider.

2. Analytics and how data is used

We use analytics to understand page views, referral sources, and navigation, so we can improve the guide's structure, find broken links, and make it easier to read on mobile. Analytics may include pages viewed, visit times, referring pages, browser types, device categories, and interaction events. This data is used to understand site usage, not to receive in-app proxy traffic or connection content.

When you click an App Store button in the download guide, analytics may record a store-link click. This event reflects an action on the page; it does not indicate that a purchase was completed. We cannot use it to access your Apple Account, payment information, or order details.

The infrastructure that serves this site may log request URLs, IP addresses, response statuses, and request times to deliver pages, diagnose access issues, and handle unusual requests. Avoid including personal information in page URLs; referrer URLs and access logs may also contain it.

3. Cookies and local storage

Static page content and site links do not rely on login cookies. Whether analytics sets cookies, and how long they last, depends on the analytics configuration in use. This policy does not claim that analytics never uses browser storage.

Your browser may cache fonts, images, and page resources to reduce repeat requests. Language switching uses page links, and section positions can be restored using URL anchors. Cookies, local storage, and cache are separate mechanisms; clearing one does not necessarily clear the others.

You can view, restrict, or delete this site's cookies and website data in your browser settings. Restricting analytics scripts or storage may reduce analytics accuracy, but usually does not affect reading the content or opening site links. After clearing the cache, resources may need to load again.

4. App Store links and purchases

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms. The only place to get it is the App Store product page, operated by Apple. After you open the link, Apple may handle access, account, and transaction information under its own policies. Purchases are subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy.

This site does not process payments, store payment credentials, or access purchase records. Prices, system requirements, and purchase availability are as listed on the App Store page. For verification steps, see the download guide. For instructions on importing your existing details after purchase, see the tutorial.

5. Policy updates and issue resolution

We may revise this policy when our data practices or site features change, and update the month shown at the top of the page. Revisions will be published here rather than sent by email. Visit this page again to review the current policy.

For questions about purchases, importing, or connections, see the relevant sections in the Troubleshooting page or the tutorial. Before sharing screenshots or text while troubleshooting, remove subscription credentials, passwords, and other personal information. Use your browser's privacy settings to view or clear browser data. For Apple Account or transaction issues, use the appropriate options in the App Store.
